Privacy Policy

• Domains you check. Domains entered into our tools are sent to our server so we can look up their metrics. They are not linked to your identity.
• Contact form messages. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic, message and (optionally) the page or domain you mention. We use these only to reply to you.

• IP address for rate limiting. To protect our tools from abuse, we briefly keep a count of requests per IP address in server memory. These counts are discarded within minutes and are not stored in a database.
• Analytics. We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics tags that help us understand how visitors use the site (for example, pages viewed and device type). These tags may set cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard request logs (such as IP address, browser user agent and requested URL) for security and troubleshooting.

To produce a result, the domain you enter is sent to the following services:

• Ahrefs (Domain Rating)
• Moz (Domain Authority, Page Authority and Spam Score)
• Open PageRank (fallback authority signal)
• RDAP registries via rdap.org (domain registration date)
• Internet Archive Wayback Machine (site history)
• Public DNS and DNS-based blocklists (live DNS and blocklist checks)

Only the domain name is sent to these services, not your IP address or personal details. Contact form messages are delivered to our inbox through Resend, an email delivery provider.

We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

• Domain lookup results are cached on our server for up to 12 hours, then discarded.
• Rate-limit counters are discarded within minutes.
• Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. DAPA Checker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
